Why It Still Matters
The cost of living crisis hasn’t gone anywhere. For many, winter can feel endless, not just in temperature, but in loneliness too. Whether it’s the worry of heating bills, or the silence of an empty afternoon, we know that even a small gesture of warmth can make a big difference.
So, our fire is still lit. The kettle’s still on. And our doors are open to anyone who needs a place to rest, warm up, or see a friendly face.
You don’t need to buy a thing – just come in, take a seat, enjoy a free hot cuppa, and stay as long as you like.
The Pensioners’ Winter Warmer Hub Menu
From Tuesday to Friday, 12–3pm, we’re continuing to serve our Warm Hub Lunch:
- Mains just £7.50
- 2 Courses for £10 – pudding included!
From Roast Dinners to Banana Splits, Lamb’s Liver & Onions to Neapolitan Ice Cream, it’s proper food at proper prices – hearty, nostalgic, and made with care.
