We are a traditional local village pub. Roaring log fires in winter and stunning rural views from the garden in Summer.
We have a beautiful, fully enclosed patio garden that leads into a field, for a perfect rural retreat.
Come for a quiet relaxing lunch during the week, or a well earned pint after work.
Pouring Local Real Ales, & serving fresh home made food – “just like Mum’s”.
We pride ourselves on being at the centre of our community. Welcoming families, local interest groups, and four legged friends…….just watch out for our two cats!
Our food is good quality Pub Grub, cooked fresh by our resident Chefs Lyn and Yvonne.
Our supply chain is completely local
Homemade Pie and Chips; Classic Sausages and Mash; and Ham, Egg and Chips – give you a flavour of our offer – which sit alongside Vegetarian and GF options.
Chef’s Specials ensure we ring the changes and create variety. Our burgers are renowned in the area. Especially Lyn’s “Mega Burger Challenge” At least two types of meat patties, with two or three toppings! Can you finish it, or not, to join our hall of fame, or shame .
Traditional Sunday Roasts are served on Sunday alongside our Menu.
We keep a good cellar, and have 5 handpumps for pouring Real Ale. Alongside staple favourites like Harvey’s, we champion local micro breweries, Old Dairy, & Rother Valley Brewing Company.
